Qwant includes not only traditional search results, but also offers to users all the results from social networks, on the same website in real time.
When you run a search, Qwant offers 5 different sources of information.
The Classic view displays the results in four columns. A fifth column appears when your search corresponds to a Wikipedia page.
A first horizontal banner displays all images and videos related to your search.
Each column of results can be filtered.
The "Qnowledge graph" responds directly to your query. If you type "Paris" in the search bar, you will find all the essential information about the city in it.
Besides the Classic view, you have the Mosaic view which displays the results like a wall of results.
The Media view displays all the images and videos on the same page. The People view focuses on the social networks of individuals and organizations that meet your search.
Qwant is available in nearly 15 languages. To change the language, just click on the "Languages" tab at the top right of the screen.
On Qwant, the latest trends are daily updated. The colors indicate the source of the information. Thus popular topics are quickly and easily accessible.
With one click, you can share all the informations you find on Qwant, on your social networks.
In a few clicks, create your own notebooks, so you can easily find the results of your searches at any time. p> There are two kind of boards: public or private. p> A board are public by default. Those appear in Explorer and is visible to all Qwant users. p> Private boards are, by definition, visible by yourself only. For each book, there is a list of subscribers.
At fisrt sign up at your Qwant account.
Then you have two options:
• Click on the icon (Notebook) in the bottom of the outcome of interest or result in the popup, click on the "Add a book" ("Add to List" to rename).
Simply fill in the field with the name of your new book and click on "Create". The result will be placed in your book, and then becomes a "note." You can also add the result to an existing notebook by selecting it from the available list.
•Go to "My Notes" from the dropdown list of "Notes" at the top right. Click on "Create a Notebook" and then fill in the field with the name of your new board and click on "Create".
Allez dans « Mes Notes » de la liste déroulante de « Notes » en haut à droite.
Cliquez sur le carnet que vous souhaitez modifier ou supprimer. Vous êtes alors dans la vue détaillée du carnet sélectionné. Cliquez ensuite sur le bouton modifier pour pouvoir :
• Changer le nom du carnet
• Activer le mode « Privé »
• Supprimer ce carnet
A part pour la suppression, n’oubliez pas d’enregistrer vos modifications avant de quitter la page.
When you add a result to a notebook (new or existing), it becomes a note.
For each notes, you can:
• Add tag and description, or delete the note, click on the edit icon in the top right of it.
• Change the order of appearance of notes by clicking on the title of the note to move, click and hold to drag and drop.
