The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on September 20, 2017, and later ported to iOS on May 17, 2018 and Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2018. The game is an expanded and enhanced version of the developer's previous freeware game Hydorah.
